Question: What is a ghost's favorite day of the week?
Answer: FRIGHT-day!! (Mine too!)
On Friday we are celebrating Halloween in the classroom and I can't wait! (We don't have school Monday.)
My school does a traditional Halloween parade where all the students dress up and parade through the school in their costumes. We will also have a Halloween Party thrown by our wonderful Room Mothers right before school gets out (and thank goodness it will be a "short day" which means school will get out earlier).
Yep... Friday will be a crazy day.
Halloween + Costumes + Friday + Class Party + Short Day = Super Excited Students
As they go out the door to go home on Friday, I am going to send them home with a little Halloween treat... A Little Book of Halloween Jokes! The best part about this treat... it's sugar free! ;)

It will be sad to take down all my cute Halloween decorations! Even though I love Thanksgiving and all its yummy-ness, it just isn't as cute (maybe Pinterest will change that)!
Did you all make those adorable Glyph Monsters from Kindergarten Rocks? LOVE THEM!
And my little pumpkin patch is just about the cutest thing ever!
You gotta love SPOOKY paper plate ghosts!! BOO!
Happy Halloween, Friends!
What are your favorite Halloween activities for the classroom?

Oh my goodness! I love the joke book. What a super fun little gift for the kiddos! And it's not candy! Perfect!
ReplyDeleteMy second graders have really been into monster/Halloween jokes this year. They are going to love this!!!

The milk cartons in the cafeteria have hosted Halloween jokes . . . the SAME Halloween jokes. As I do my lunch duty every 2nd grader wants to tell me the same few jokes. This joke book will arm my students with some fresh material! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute. I love the jokes!
